I'm in a fledgling Daggerheart game that says they want to be a monetized Livestream but honestly it seems like they don't really understand what it entails. It seems like they just treat it like another casual home game. I'm just looking for a bit... More? Something professional?

So this may be a long shot, but opportunities have been slim, but does anyone have leads on some good entry level (preferably remote) jobs in the #tabletop space? I live in a rather rural area and relocation isn't likely. I have some experience in Computer Science and band programming but no degree.

Tariffs suck.
Due to this nonsense, several of my pending #boardgame crowdfunding projects are pending delivery soon but are requiring additional payment to receive. Not a problem, I get it. It's a cost they hadn't anticipated. But for people who are now in between employment, this hurts.

With #Switch2 finally fixing the horrific performance and visual issues with Pokemon Scarlet, I finally just decided to delete my Dave and start all over and experience it fresh. Haven't played since the first two weeks of its release. So upon starting up, and having the DLC at my disposal....

One of the things about #boardgames that I've been trying to do better about is painting miniatures for the biggest games I have. I've definitely got a long way to go and lots of improvements to learn, but for someone painting for less than a year, I'm pretty damn proud. #AeonTrespassOdyssey

It almost feels wrong to be about three days out from the launch of a new #Nintendo system and not seeing ANY press coverage from it. I get that it's entirely because press doesn't have their consoles yet so therefore cannot do the normal reviews, etc, for all of it. Just feels weird.

So how are we expecting to play #Daggerheart online at this point? I have a digital book but none of the group does. Foundry VTT doesn't have Daggerheart modules. Roll20 isn't supporting it yet. And Demiplane requires a monthly sub to let my friends see the character creator

Things I have learned this year from gaming social media:
If you are interested in a Nintendo console, you are immediately a corporate bootlicker, no matter what.
Turn based games are bad, no matter what.
People are ok with a Soulsborne game being hard, but heavy forbid an RPG like Expedition 33

So just today, I finally played and finished #Shadowofthecolossus
It was pretty fun, but only playing now really highlights how rough it feels. If I played it back in the day, maybe the rough controls and floaty movement wouldn't have bothered me.
But the biggest issue is that they never remade ICO

Wow. That #Switch2 preorder was simple. Simply clicked to wait in a line on Walmart. Waited forty minutes with my phone screen on and then my turn came up and was able to buy it. Easy.

I don't like that #Nintendo hasn't informed people through My NIntendo that they will actually be eligible for #Switch2 preorders. I have the registered Interest, and now I'm just waiting. Do I gamble and expect the offer? If I don't get it then, then I will have missed the retailer preorders.

Crazy! 2.2 million preorders were requested from #Nintendo for #Switch2 in Japan. To the point that Nintendo was not expecting such high demand and had to inform the public that they wouldn't be able to fulfill that many.
For reference, the Switch 1 sold 360,000 in its first month in Japan.

It's been a rough year for me, I won't lie. Unemployment since February has been real hard and literally no real prospects to keep my livelihood going due to health issues. So to keep my sanity and do literally anything to feel productive and feel positive about something, I started painting #minis

I'm really not a fan of social media discourse at all around gaming. All it does it reward hot takes and bandwagoning. I swear no one has a single original thought. Has anyone else noticed that so many arguments being made on social media right now almost seem to be arguing about nothing? Like the points being made don't even matter and it's just noise? Whether it's tariffs, or #NintendoSwitch2. It's literally just noisy bitching.

Seriously, the hell is going on with social media and #Switch2? I'm baffled how much outright lying or disinformation there is when people are talking about it. I don't really care if you don't buy it, but outright lying about announced information is a wild thing to prove some weird point.

I'm really curious what exactly the beef with Miyazaki and #Sony is with #Bloodborne
Miyazaki very clearly wanted to do more and Sony didn't. To the point that #Nintendo likely funded #Duskblood to be made by Miyazaki. Does Sony even care? It seems like a huge slap in their face.

If any of you are reeling from the #Switch2 pricing, just wait until the next Xbox and PS are announced. PS5 Pro was already $699 and you factor in economic instability (aka tariffs from a particularly volatile world leader) and you have prices jumping. The price wasn't in the presentation...

Well damn. #NintendoSwitch2 may be pricey but it looks like a legitimate quality console. 4k 60fps? 1080p 120fps? Flipping DuskBlood? Sony dropped the ball on production of a Bloodborne and Nintendo courted this instead. This looks as good as a PS5

Taking the opportunity in #StreetMasters #boardgames to play characters I've not really had the opportunity to try and doing their story too. This time is Mary Anne. Her whole schtick around manipulating loot crates is interesting, but I'm not sure it's a hit with me. But I can say I tried?
