The RSPB is looking for surveyors to census the UK’s largest Storm Petrel colony on Mousa, Shetland.

Please keep an eye out for seabirds washing up on beaches - these prolonged storms seem to be having an effect. Report dead birds to Defra/Daera and BTO in the UK, live ones to suitable wildlife rehabbers.

I don't think biodiversity conservation has an evidence problem

I think it has a most of the world's biggest industries depend on destroying nature problem

This isn't an information deficit issue, we pretty much know what to do. The problem is that govs prioritise capital growth over survival

We desperately need economic models that recognise the true value of healthy ecosystems and that we live in a world of finite natural resources.
