Australian. Fair go. Preferential voting advocate. I try to be polite. But have used expletives more times since Jan 20th than the rest of my life put together.

Australians: Preferential voting means your vote is never wasted. It helps small groups and young politicians, because you can give them your vote even if you think they are unlikely to get in.
If same as Australia, those rules apply to polling day only. And all parties have same rights. I think the poster is talking about pre election and ongoing blatant bias. ??
Came here to say this! (Not that Im a cherry inspector - too hot here - but principle applies).

I've been chatting on WhatsApp today with the woman we got our kittens from. Both their parents are short-haired tabbies, so Cromarty's long black fur was confusing. She then sent me a picture of Cromarty's uncle Fred! It's uncanny.
Haha! All these posts about uncle Fred and me just thinking the genes cane from Cromartys grandfather. πŸ˜…πŸ€£

Congratulations, Professor Morawska, and thank you

You (USians) need to get rid of presidential pardons altogether (after you've sorted the rest of the shit show out).
Another variation on using children for target practice. Other countries shake their heads in disbelief.
Because you choose which charities to give to - are they "worthy"? Do they do work I personally agree with?
You could pay the same amount in taxes but then you can't pick and choose.
It also seems to me (outsider) that the US approach to charity is also Victorian. We'll donate to those we think worthy of donation.
