Trump's tariffs are doing little or nothing to benefit American producers. Instead, they're making imports more expensive through surcharges - essentially, taxes paid by American consumers. Both the tariffs and how the revenue is handled is supposed to be up to Congress, not the President.

So now Trump thinks that ICE agents are qualified to investigate financial crime allegations?
Trump says on Minnesota that "we have to get rid of the criminals, so from that standpoint nothing is going to change" & adds, "we have to find out all of the fraud that's taken place in MN, We have to get to it. They've stolen at least $19b & we're gonna find out who did it and where the money is."

It sure is good to know that crime in America is so low that the FBI and DOJ have nothing better to do than launch bogus criminal investigations, presumably leading to bogus prosecutions, in connection with the 2020 presidential election. www.huffpost.com/entry/fbi-ra...

In Printz v. United States, #SCOTUS held that the Constitution bars the federal government from forcing or otherwise compelling local or state governments to enforce federal law.

The liberal squish who wrote the majority opinion in that case? Justice Antonin Scalia:

Is VP Vance referring to the U.S. economy as a sinking ship, or is he just really bad at speaking metaphorically?

Trump has badly weakened the Republican brand, and all of the GOPers in government, business, and the media who were too anxious to ride his coattails, or too weak-kneed to stand up to him, are equally to blame. /1

Hey, CNN, a reporter asking a question within a gaggle of other members of the press is not a "one-on-one." Having said that, Ms. Collins asked a good question, and Governor Newsom gave an even better answer.
COLLINS: Did it stand out to you that he said Iceland multiple times when he was talking about Greenland?

The is not a new deal - this is Trump surrendering. For now. They have always said that the US & NATO is free to do what it wants in Greenland from a military perspective. Trump said that wasn’t good enough because he needs the US to “own” it. So this is simply Trump backing down

There's so much insanity in Trump's letter to Norway's Prime Minister, including the false premise that it was the Republic of Norway that "decided" not to give Trump the Nobel Peace Prize. But foremost is the admission that Trump's commitment to peace was, at least in part, just to get the Prize.
