It's a criticism but also a warning to not fuck it up (again). I wonder how much in retrospect the Biden administration will be remembered for missed opportunities and focusing on the wrong things with carrying through half measures borne in part through structural difficulties.
Not sure why, but I've been thinking about the failures in the Obama administration to push back against the rising "Tea party" movement and how it set the stage for where we are now.
