My feed is full of people who don't seem to care about Federal workers. Healthcare is important, but so are the livelihoods of millions of Feds who can barely pay bills after being furloughed for 40-days. The healthcare fight continues, but now we won't be held hostage trying to make ends meet.

"This deal guarantees a vote to extend Affordable Care Act premium tax credits, which Republicans weren't willing to do. Lawmakers know their constituents expect them to vote for it, and if they don't they could very well be replaced at the ballot box by someone who will."

I love running out of money in two weeks because our government can't a) fund furloughed employees and b) have any normal agreement structure to do their jobs and pass a budget. I will forever hate both parties.

The Democrat proposal is already rejected. It's hard to feel any hope for our Federal jobs and our country right now. Total bleak despair and a feeling that our government is completely useless. They don't care that the ones who support them can't pay their bills or feed their families.

I'm happy the Democrats are 'unified,' but that's not paying my bills. I hate the stubborn nature of Congress and their willingness to casually hold Federal employees hostage while they chase a dream.
