Just published an editorial in the Anglican Journal on the misuse of non-disclosure agreements in churches.
In short: "NDAs compromise our Christian witness in the aftermath of misconduct. It’s time to end them."

The Church is not some building made of concrete or adobe or any other material. The material temple is nothing more than the sign of a tent that travels about and gets set up wherever the pilgrim people happen to go —St Oscar Romero, 4th Sunday of Easter, 1978 #StOscarRomero

A Liberal majority with a Conservative opposition is most likely. Libs are centrist at best, and without the NDP, they'll have absolutely no reason to pass socially just legislation.
I hate this timeline. I want the one where Jack Layton doesn't die and our left wing party is actually left.

NDAs used in situations of misconduct are a mechanism of what the theologian Gregory Baum called "social sin."
Regardless of who you decide to vote for in this upcoming election- NDAs are an important election issue!
NDAs restrict TRANSPARENCY, they restrict JUSTICE and they restrict FREEDOM of SPEECH.
