Did I truly draw this 9 months ago? I sometimes forget i even drew this.. looking back there are quite a few rendering/anatomy mistakes(?) Or areas I'd redo now. Ig that means my art has improved? Though I feel like I havent had the chance to draw a lot..

A landscape piece. There is a large shell resting on waves; in the shell are 2 mermaids with their faces hidden from view. They clutch in desperation at Sanyin, their claws drawing blood. Sanyin is undisturbed, eyes closed and facing the light from above. Her hair blends into the sea foam of the crashing waves.

Encroaching on the left side of the shell is Zhen Jiyue. One of his hands rests on the edge of the top half of the shell, peeking over the rim. His face is stoic with a hint of demanding, large and subtle, imposing like a god.

On the right is Phis; he leans on the shell languidly, eyes staring straight at the viewer. An affect of a smirk is on his face, conveying an expression of casual triumph. His Medusa hair, the opalescent white snakes, curl to resemble a mockery of the sea foam.
