"Never again will the immense power of the state be weaponized to persecute political opponents — something I know something about. We will not allow that to happen. It will not happen again." - Trump's inaugural address, Jan 2025.

There's a TSA "security" dog at the airport who is completely fixated on shaking his squeaky bunny toy. He may not be good at his job but he is a good boy.

Why did this Windows update blow away my wallpaper? It's a tiny thing but it makes me nervous. What else did it undo that I won't notice until the minute I need it?

Cosigned. The enemy of my enemy can still be a colossal POS.
Rep @rokhanna.bsky.social, Elon Musk threw up Sieg Heils, let Nazis back on Twitter, and has repeatedly spread and repeated white supremacist memes and language.

You're not only committing a grave political mistake, you're violating the most basic standards of ethics and morality.

Shame on you.

The ONE thing about that anti-DEI piece in C&RL that I KIND of resonate with personally is sharing "the last 5 books you read". Happy to talk about how I read/support diverse creators but I'm not divulging my pathetic reading schedule.

I am disappointed to see John Lithgow in this. Roberta Muldoon in Garp was the first real portrayal of a trans person I had ever seen, and he talked about what heartfelt responses he got from trans people. Now getting paid to make JKR richer?
