My *official* intro post (ignore the first post made in 2023)

Comic artist, illustrator and, I suppose, writer; I'm currently drawing and co-writing a 14-part horror series called THE SICKNESS with @lonnienadler.bsky.social, and I've published a small smattering of horror shorts (some upcoming).

When a top CDC scientist resigns citing eugenicist rhetoric from federal health agencies, everyone should absolutely be paying attention.
Eugenics plays prominently in the rhetoric being generated and is derivative of a legacy that good medicine and science should continue to shun. The recent shooting at CDC is not why I am resigning. My grandfather, who I am named after, stood up to fascist forces in Greece and lost his life doing so. I am resigning to make him and his legacy proud. I am resigning because of the cowardice of a leader that cannot admit that HIS and his minions' words over decades
created an environment where violence like this can occur. I reject his and his colleagues

My cover for Little Nightmares: Descent To Nowhere. Incredibly proud of @lonnienadler.bsky.social, he has put his heart and soul into LN and deserves all the recognition.

A difficult standard I've set for myself that I'll never reach, but I'll also never stop trying!!

The Night of the Hunter (1955) has influenced me in many ways, though it is a chief inspiration for The Sickness. With each page, I strive for my art to be guided by mid-century black and white cinematography. It's difficult, and I don't always succeed, but I try my best.

depriving the reader of things is sometimes intentional

it's not necessarily a flaw if a story doesn't give you more of what you want from it
