(1/2) Brown WBB wins its fourth straight game, 68-60 over UNH, despite trailing by 12 at half. It doubled up UNH in the 4Q.

And Grace Arnolie and Alyssa Moreland are two of the best duos in Ivy League WBB, but other Bears stepped up with them in foul trouble. @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

The Brown broadcasters just pointed out that first-year point guard Charlotte Adams-Lopez went to Bishop Feehan HS in Massachusetts - the same high school as head coach Monique LeBlanc. That must've been fun for LeBlanc during the recruiting process! @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

Karlee White, Harvard's second-leading scorer and steals leader, avoided knee ligament damage last week vs. Boston College. It's "a bad bone bruise," per head coach Carrie Moore. There's no firm timeline for her return; she's considered day-to-day, but it could be weeks. @theixbasketball.bsky.social

Columbia senior Perri Page had 13 points, 9 rebounds, 8 steals and 4 assists in a win over Binghamton tonight. Her steals tied the program single-game record held by Brittany Simmons (who had 8 in Jan. 2013) and Jaida Patrick (March 2022). @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

At half, Harvard WBB leads Alabama 30-26 behind 11 points (4-4 FG) from Alayna Rocco and 9 from Katie Krupa.

The Crimson have 8 more points off FTs than Alabama, which has helped them lead despite having zero fast-break points off their defense. @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

Entering tonight's game against Northwestern State, Virginia forward and Princeton transfer Tabitha Amanze ranks seventh in Division I with 5.0 offensive rebounds per game. Overall, she's averaging 10.8 points on 52.5% shooting and 8.4 rebs in just 20.6 minutes per game. @theixbasketball.bsky.social

Princeton's Skye Belker wins Ivy League Player of the Week after averaging 19.3p on 58% shooting and 4.3a in three wins. It's her first career POTW award.

Yale's Dorka Kastl wins Rookie of the Week after averaging 2.7p, 4.3r and 2.0b in her first three games. @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

It's been an eerily similar offseason for the Washington Mystics so far, as they grab the No. 4 overall pick in next year's #WNBA draft for the second straight year. @jennhatfield.bsky.social has more on the team's rebuilding plans:

The repeat lottery pick is just one way this offseason is expected to look like the last one for the Washington Mystics.

Per @acrossthetimeline.com, the Mystics have now beaten the odds in just two of the 11 draft lotteries they've been in all-time. #WNBA
The @washmystics.bsky.social will pick fourth overall in the 2026 #WNBA Draft. That's where the odds projected them to pick, and it was also one of their draft spots last season. That pick got them Kiki Iriafen, who represented the team at tonight's draft lottery. @theixbasketball.bsky.social

Princeton first-year Sarah Lessig got her first career minutes today in the Tigers' win over UMES. She had six rebounds in just 13 minutes (plus 4 points and a block).

My @theixbasketball.bsky.social colleague @rowanschaberg.bsky.social wrote last month about Lessig's journey:
How Sarah Lessig, a multisport phenom, ended up at Princeton - The IX Basketball
Sarah Lessig took "kind of a weird route" to college basketball and to Princeton. For one thing, she barely played travel basketball.

Also, Gracie Merkle is only the second player in the Carla Berube era to shoot 80% or better against Princeton on at least 10 shot attempts, per @herhoopstats.com. The other was UConn's Aubrey Griffin, who shot 11-for-11 against the Tigers in December 2022. @theixbasketball.bsky.social
Such a shame that game wasn't televised. For Princeton:

Skye Belker 27p (9-13 FG), 5a
Fadima Tall 22p (8-13 FG), 6r, 4s, 3a
Madison St. Rose 20p (7-13 FG), 10r, 3s

For PSU:

Gracie Merkle 39p (19-23 FG), 7r
Moriah Murray 20p (6-9 3pt), 5a
Kiyomi McMiller 19p, 8a, 4r

Princeton WBB beats Penn State 100-93 in the Bahamas. It's Princeton's first 100-point game under head coach Carla Berube and only the 8th by an Ivy League team since 2009 vs. a Div. I opponent, per @herhoopstats.com. None of the prior 7 came vs. a Power Five team. @theixbasketball.bsky.social

98 Princeton wins have come with Chet or Toby Nweke on the roster. And though they never played together (Chet is now a grad transfer at Georgetown), they’ve succeeded together every step of the way. #NCAAWBB

Tough one for Columbia WBB today, falling 66-48 to Saint Joseph's. The Lions shot 0-for-14 from 3 - just the second time in 9 seasons under head coach Megan Griffith that they haven't made a 3, per @herhoopstats.com. (The other was in a win over BC in the 2022 WNIT.) @theixbasketball.bsky.social

Harvard WBB gets a 72-65 OT win over Boston College - its 4th straight in the series - despite losing junior guard and leading scorer Karlee White to an apparent knee injury in the 3Q.

Abigail Wright led Harvard with 23p (10-19 FG), 13r, 4a and 2b in 43 mins. @theixbasketball.bsky.social #NCAAWBB

Ada Anamekwe subs in to start the 2Q — she’s also making her season debut for Brown. The Bears still aren’t fully healthy (and aren’t expected to be until at least Ivy play, with Powell out), but getting Anamekwe and Arnolie back is huge. @theixbasketball.bsky.social
Good to see Grace Arnolie back on the court for Brown tonight and being aggressive from the jump. What a pairing Brown has now at point guard with Arnolie and first-year Charlotte Adams-Lopez. @theixbasketball.bsky.social
