While watching that horrifying, globe-shifting exchange with Zelenkskyy, I couldn't help but think about what a deliberately staged reality-TV moment it was, with two people ganging up on one and screaming a classic, totally petulant reality-TV accusation: They hadn't been thanked enough.

This, by @collinshughes.bsky.social, is an exemplar of a review, imho. Intelligent about the play; respectful and perceptive in its criticism (she talks about the subtle requirements of successful stage acting); and nuanced, giving credit where credit is due. So good. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/28/t...

Nice! Extra points for that.

And yes guys I know aargh is accepted but they’re BOTH in the dictionary. If the Bee accepts three kinds of mama and two kinds of teepee it ought two accept two kinds of argh.

Ha! Nice. I know. But both should be allowed, like tepee and teepee or momma and mamma and mama. It’s IN THE DICTIONARY TOO.

Actually, Millennials suffer the most from insomnia. Wouldn’t have necessarily guessed, but I do see how they have plenty to worry about.

Anyway, it’s not about why. The headline is unfortunately ridiculously misleading.

I appreciate what @mikesacks.bsky.social said here. I’m “the interviewer,” and it took a lot to get him to open up!!!

The Atlantic re-upped this story today, so I’m sharing it too. One thing I’d say: I wish I’d suggested “Don’t Feel Bad If You Have Insomnia” as the headline. That’s really what it’s about. Draining away the stigma — both of the condition and how we solve it. www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

Drove back from Montreal a couple hours ago and the new tariff rules are so confusing I had no idea whether I was supposed to declare the vintage Nirvana T-shirt I bought for $24 or not

If you’re an admirer of beautiful obituaries (I am—there’s nothing like a well-lived life told well), you must read this remembrance by @seremony.bsky.social of her mother, Sam. I teared up raised a glass today; so should you.

And the sausages line is hilarious.

Yet not in my individual case. It’s not true across the board. My own gynecologist was pro-HRT before it was fashionable and has certainly tried something specifically tailored to me. Hasn’t worked. I’ll have to wait, alas.

Why thank you! And yet I still bombed Wordle and you did not. So I’d say we each have our strengths.
