This is such a clever storyline The House of Lost Whispers by Jenni Keer with wonderful characters of Olivia and Seth.

What if a disaster had been avoided, what ripple effects of different decisions and events could then shape the lives of so many if there was also a parallel universe.

Could justice be served, and could true love prevail, if by chance there was a link between both where contact could take place? Or is the divide of both realities too great and heartache and loss the final outcome for all concerned?

When I first saw The Choice, I thought I was walking into another cookie-cutter dystopia, you know, the usual Big Brother clone. But you spun something sharper, scarier, and honestly more current than I expected. Sugar as contraband and baking as rebellion? That hits on a whole other level.
