Academic physician with an interest in familial ILD and and complex lung disease models. Also a cellist, runner, baker and frazzled mum of two
Very proud of this - recognition of the achievements of mid-career researchers battling the challenges of academic medicine is much needed and appreciated. Thank you @balrcommunity.bsky.social @btsrespiratory.bsky.social @asthmaandlung.org.uk for supporting these awards!

Delighted to kick off this year’s @btsrespiratory.bsky.social winter meeting in the @balrcommunity.bsky.social session discussing the use of alveolar organoids in respiratory disease modelling. Great session - exciting times to be in lung science research!

Like many, I’m guilty of not *really* ever mentally checking out of work. Except this time I have. And it’s been wonderful. Thank you South Africa, Zimbabwe and the less-exotic-but-still-lovely Cromer for the quality family time and life-long memories.
