Things there should be a word for: averting your eyes when someone else does something faintly embarrassing, like the man I just saw coming out of his $3 million house with an Audi parked in the driveway to put the rubbish out in his panda themed pajamas. Opposite of schadenfreude.

I need a medal for not finishing the call with Mercedes the call centre person, who called me "Jen" all the way through the call, with a cheery "Thanks, Merc!"
