Though personally I never found much use in Multibind or Spool Extender I love that others find it useful (YouTube videos, one of my discord friends) because it really shows good emergent game design that each player is able to find a way they feel like they are playing with the strongest combo.

In blue, poison tools + double tools is a really cheesy combo I liked, weavelight is pretty essential for late game platforming, fractured mask saved my butt a bunch, and the poison water resistance is a much needed QoL equip. Also found a lot of love for Druid’s Eye (though it’s worse than in HK).

Using the magnet most of the game left me with thousands of extra rosaries I had no use for after I bought everything. And it felt very freeing to swap stuff out and find out how strong some of the tools I was overlooking were because the in-game doesn’t explain it well. Try experimenting!

We tried something new with the trophies this year, entirely made by us!

In the past we’ve used acrylic boxes and components made by other manufacturers we bought off Amazon, but these were wholly designed and manufactured by the Hitfall team.

I hope our attendees enjoy the new designs!

Kitten update. Turned it over to local Animal Services for the weekend, they’re checking if she has an owner/is chipped, doing health checks and determining if she’s able to be adopted. I signed to have first dibs if she’s going to be looking for a forever home.

So a very friendly stray kitten followed me for my (intended to be) very short walk this evening. They were friendly and seemed healthy so I carried them into my apartment to take care of for the evening so I can find a shelter for them tomorrow. Trying not to get too attached.

In lieu of an official RCS top 50 NA ranking for Rivals of Aether 1 this year, Willow, Meechole, windy, 2JANK, and I will be putting together an NA ranking of our own!
We are trying to keep this pretty loose in general, so here is what the current plan is:
- Any RoA1 tournament, online or offline, that manages to hit at least 25 entrants in current year (and is in NA) will be considered. Online events will be weighted less during panel decisions but still considered.
- Players need to attend 3 tournaments minimum to qualify, and at least 2 of those need to be offline.
- At the end of the year we will form a panel to rank the top 25 players.
- We're counting tournaments that already happened this year because we need everything we can get.
- We're keeping track of tournaments on braacket, if we are missing any please let us know: https://braacket.com/league/2025RoA1NA
