Even if this won’t result directly after the shutdown, this is the direction the United States of America is heading (carefully identifying where the blame belongs) under the anti-constitutional leadership of Robert’s Supreme Court. Nearly all Republicans are complicit.

My concern is that whatever emerges from the #trumpshutdown will be a new form of government. Dictatorship.
Congress won't matter nor will the courts. Unitary executive power will do away with governance, and the end of the great american experiment. And then it gets really ugly.

There is in fact one American institution that bears greater responsibility for the democratic collapse of the United States of America, and that institution is the Supreme Court. The Robert’s Court is single handedly responsible for empowering Trump as a dictator.

This is some of the most rigorous scholarship I’ve ever seen. Absolutely impressive. Recently finishing Hegel’s Lectures on World History, it became clear that his system is suited to a Christian Nationalism. His teleology lays the grounds for authoritarianism.

Two big GOP activists from Oregon were in DC last month for meetings with Trump admin officials. On their podcast they talk about a plan they discussed to nullify the results of Oregon's 2026 federal elections. Pass federal voter ID law, then refuse to seat OR delegation because OR didn't comply.

Also, we proposed a idea how to do a end run on vote by mail. Concept is based on what Trump proposed. When you vote, you check everyone's citizenship as well as voter ID.
In a vote by mail state, you might be able to check citizenship during voter registration. You can send copies of your passport and your birth certificate in.
How in the world are you going to check our voters?
Voter ID, right? Vote by mail. So that creates a problem for Oregon.
But if federal government new requirement is to check both, and if Oregon can comply with the requirements, what would happen to our election result? I'm talking about the entire federal delegation.
For federal elections, we're talking about only federal elections.

The second one is politically powerful. I was deeply moved by it. I learned something from it: there is no guarantee, you stand with your people and die on the hill of freedom and human rights. The director is masterful. Those films are like grand works of art. One viewing is not enough.

What are they really going to do? Go after American citizens with frivolous charges that won’t stand up in court. Literally a political witch-hunt to cover their incompetence. But many innocent people will be hurt by this anti-American tyranny that is hostile to the freedoms in our Constitution.

You have freedom of speech afforded to you by the Constitution of the United States of America, you can say what you want as long as it is not threats. Nevertheless, here are two applicable terms that accomplish something very close to the term fascism/fascists:

Authoritarians.

Exactly correct. People are always expecting it to come with and *obviousness*, “oh, I would know if it was real fascism.” This is purely emotive, it’s the slowest kind of learning, the kind that has to touch the burner to know it’s hot. This incompetent ego-intuition approach learns too late.
