Operating budget: $450,000,000 a year
Capacity: 1,000
Cost per person: $450,000 annually
I thought the goal was to stop spending tax dollars on undocumented immigrants? But I guess spending $450K on them is much better than allowing them to earn a living, support their family, etc etc.

The facility could be completed within months and have the capacity to hold around 1,000 people.

Everything that's going on from the ICE raids, deployment of the National Guard, and the reality that millions will lose their healthcare and more is an attempt by the felon to bait us into taking to the streets.

He wants to implement the Insurrection Act to remain in office.

Protest peacefully.

In South Park, San Diego, US citizens stigmergically rose up against Trump’s Gestapo. The revolt erupted midday when ICE began rounding up people at a restaurant; patrons and passersby alike dropped everything to confront the regime storm troopers. #3E #EndImpunity #StopICE

@cnn.com sucks. I'll finally admit it. Jon Stewart says it best, when talking about Tapper's new book, "The news is selling you a book about news they should have told you a year ago for free." And they're so focused on Biden as Trump is burning America down.

Never tick off the librarians. 😁💕🇺🇸💕
Library of Congress staff just showed what resistance looks like. After Trump abruptly fired Dr. Carla Hayden, the respected Librarian of Congress, he tried to install Todd Blanche, his former personal lawyer and current Deputy Attorney General, as acting librarian. Staff weren’t having it.

Breaking:

Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen just announced he'll depart tomorrow (Wednesday) for El Salvador to attempt to secure the release of Maryland man Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

"We must urgently continue working to return Kilmar safely home to Maryland."

Please contact your senators and ask them to support Senator Van Hollen in his efforts to have our citizen returned immediately.
@vanhollen.senate.gov is stepping up and doing the thing I said senators should do: go to El Salvador personally. Hell yeah.

As a resident of MD, today I praise my senator for having courage.

Hi folks: Facebook appears to be taking down my posts. Please remember they are available for free here (no paywall), and can be received by email (also free-- just don't put in your credit card information). I guess if I'm being banned I'm doing something right?
The government ignored his protective legal status & deported Abrego Garcia. “Now they claim that the court is powerless to order any relief. If that’s true, the immigration laws are meaningless because the government can deport ANYONE & no court can do anything about it once it’s done.”
