Ok so for real Sylux is absolutely nothing except he's mad Samus was too late to assist his unit in the Federation on an attack that's it.
(No one cares about Prime 4 spoilers right)
........... that being said I still kinda like him a little more than Dark Samus in 3? Maybe?

Using a combination of glitches in Super Mario World, Yoshi can be taken into the final battle, where he can eat Peach upon Bowser's defeat. With Peach gone, the ending will not play, and Mario and Yoshi will simply stare at each other forever.

What may also skew my opinion here is I did not care for the plot of Shin Sakura Taisen, and had only played the 5th game at the time.
