The fascist thuggery of MAGA, egged on by Trump-Vance, is one small step from violent retribution for Indiana's resistance to the deepening coup. "The members held out in spite of pipe bomb threats, unsolicited pizza deliveries to their homes, and swattings of their homes."

Another failure by Schumer. He should be moving toward issuing a subpoena and a possible contempt citation. Could he get enough GOP votes on this? Have to think yes. Only a filibuster could stop the subpoena.

Next time someone says Trump is worse than Nixon, show this. And don't forget the Cambodia bombing, CointelPro, murders of Fred Hampton and a other resistance leaders, and a few other choice VietNam era war and intelligence atrocities. All with the support of a 'Silent Majority' that was very Maga.

The AG has never sought criminal charges against a police officer in a fatal encounter. Either the law is too deferential to cops, or the process is flawed. By chance alone, one of these investigations might lead to a criminal charge, even negligent manslaughter. At this point, why bother?
