Nick Sirianni's Eagles routinely pass up opportunities for points at the end of the first half
Remember in the NFC Championship Game during the 2017-2018 season when the Philadelphia Eagles hit on a few chunk plays and kicked a field goal at the end of the first half to go up three scores again...

The Eagles imploded yesterday, for a lot of reasons.

But one of them was the run game. It didn't just disappear again, it hit a new low.

And it left Saquon Barkley at a loss.

"Didn't play even close to good, to be honest," he said.

Saquon Barkley, Eagles' run game struggles hit new low in Cowboys loss
The Eagles imploded. Barkley ran for only 22 yards, and was at a loss for how to turn things around afterward. "The plays aren't happening, and that's all on me," the running back said.

Flight attendant says on his pre-flight announcement that he is happy to take Eagles fans home after their loss.

Kevin Patullo is an easy target, IMO. He isn’t bringing anything to the offense, but…

- Ultimately, it’s Nick’s offense.
- Nick is directing big-picture in-game strategy (ie. give-up plays, etc.)
- Nick hired him.

That’s where frustration should be directed.

Game ball, three stars, and snap count analysis: Week 12, Eagles at Cowboys

The offense was moving, A.J. Brown was involved, the defense was dominating the turnover battle...

And then the Eagles just tossed all of that and lost.

That was embarrassing.

The pivotal plays from Eagles' embarrassing collapse to the Cowboys
The Eagles' defense was dominant, Jalen Hurts and the offense built up a 21-0 lead, and then it was all gone.

That was a pathetically coached game by the Eagles. They had a good initial offensive game plan, which worked. And then they just took their foot off the gas against a team capable of scoring points, and asked Daddy (Vic) to save the day again when it went stale.

The Eagles scored 21 points in the first 18 minutes. Looking like they'll go the last 42 mins scoring 0.

Eagles' DBs should've just let Pickens score.

Cowboys are well within Brandon Aubrey's range. Vic gonna be forced to blitz here to knock them back.

That was quite a bailout. (For now.)

Insane decision to even field that punt.
November 24, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Obvious observation: The Cowboys have decided that they love the matchup of their receivers deep down the field against Cooper DeJean on the outside.

This is a disaster in the making.

That was the Eagles' 13th penalty of the game.

The stats aside, this is the best A.J. Brown has looked on the eye test all season. Keep feeding him.

Another problem with going conservative in-game is that you get out of a rhythm, and it's hard to get back to what worked early in the game.
