Waking early, we waited out the rain, but the fog wouldn’t lift nearly as easily. It was still magical. Wouldn’t be a good photography trip if I didn’t get inspired by obscene levels of minimalism. The bird floating in the foreground completed the composition quite well.

I showed them my favorite long drive. I might have thought I was done with “Resilient”, but it’s in my DNA now. I did take the challenge I gave myself a few years back seriously and looked to start incorporating the shoulder seasons in my work. It was an incredibly fruitful trip.
