Not me, my #Navy. Sampan enters free fire zone early. We’re coming out of joint night ambush. Daytime, no fire - fishing area. SF on board. Kill? No, you drink coffee. I’ll board. BoCap puts PBR alongside. Search and question. Mama San and boy, all cool. Scold. As trained and expected. Are we lost?
Ronald Reagan being a pain in the ass again this week. This year’s award recognizes work done in 1984-1985. Switch out the nuclear codes for a TV changer for the sake of mankind

Here’s a needed reform. Replace the powder puff penalties for willful violation of the Hatch Act

WonderPAC analysis advice to Dems: “…frustrations with the status quo are not the same as a desire for socialism…”

Six months of polling with nearly half a million voters led Welcome PAC to a thorough accounting of what the organization already knew: The Democratic Party has veered too far left, effectively choosing to prioritize progressive orthodoxy over electoral success.

I’d like to see more granular analysis of what mediums deliver trusted information to people IRL. Could be “Fair Trade in Pork,” in Pork Belly Farmer is worth 5 Joe Rogans. Half the current analysis of what will make me give $10 might pay better returns-and be less annoying
With any of these conditions, arguably the “duty to warn” is a consideration. As is report to whom? Who could or would take action to prevent the harm in the current accumulation of toadies and powerless?
@gelliottmorris.com has the data. I quibble that if D’s don’t have the negative positions he notes they don’t reject them as party planks loudly enough to shed the accusations. Defunders vote, you know, don’t offend. I also wonder if $ubscribed media is reaching deeply into working class homes.
The GOP has been extremely effective at shaping perceptions of the Democrats, claiming they support policy positions they don't actually support

If your strategy, as a Dem, for winning in 2028 *STARTS* by buying their spin and lies, then you've already lost

The Strategist’s Fallacy in American politics
The average American voter does not think about politics the way elite strategists and pundits do

Spade in France with a winery. More akin to Holmes in “His Last Bow.” Haven’t been to France in decades. Appreciate when we get snippy, they don’t remind us that without them we would not be us.
The streaming dragon indeed. Have to order appetizers from restaurant A, soup from B, main from C. Each with a cover charge. I’m all over podcasts, newsletters, and Substacks as well, and occasionally grump that this used to come efficiently and cost effectively in a newspaper.
When did it become one whose perpetrators were accepted as normal human beings?
Trump had his last Oct. 10. He posts RFK advice; doesn’t trust it
One equation (not diagnosis) which so many are familiar with is family history, age, observed memory/cognitive issues, MRI, Leqembi, love, care, and hope pitted against RFK Jr.
Less “for” and “to” , more “with” would seem helpful. Less judgement of who benefits and delivery of benefits wanted. And, given Franken and Platner (so far), less self asphyxiation with the pearls. With all the tail winds and dire threats, the party of Wuss is not as Murrow noted, the party of us

Not if …
What needs to happen is donors be converted to guarantors
Ah, John it’s not you; it’s us. We have a roving eye. Maybe Talerico or Platner will bring us the bouquets of working class voters we want.
I’m in the Atlanta area. Since I donate to my local PBS station I have access to the PBS TV app which has them all available to stream. Did you watch Monsieur Spade? Pulling for a season 2 on that as well
