Went to a fabulous performance of Carmina Burana by @torontosymphony.bsky.social last night. The orchestra was joined by the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Toronto Children's Chorus & three extraordinary soloists. My only question: who translated the lyrics in the program? There was no credit.

I'm training two new academic cats. So far, they've taken an inventory of my book collection before moving on to chase their tails for half an hour. They will make cameo appearances during Zoom calls upon request. #caturday

I'd like to read this interview but my Google searches for the quoted text have not been helpful. Would you mind sharing where/when was it published?

The first stage of the data collection for my new research project on comics, graphic novels and translation is done. I'm ready for some down time! I've just finished painting the minis (and reading the very long rule book) for this board game, so I'm going to try out Pest today.

Also Eden Robinson, but her Trickster series: Son of a Trickster, Trickster Drift, Return of the Trickster. (Though Moon of the Crusted Snow has stuck with me as well.)
