Some folks will very quickly project assumptions of behavior based on their bigoted lack of empathy on folks they see as opposition. They will never understand that we oppose them because we wouldn't do the hateful thing or enjoy it like they would.

It turns out that protecting hate speech did not create the conditions to protect other kinds of speech; instead, it protected hate and allowed hate movements to take over all the institutions of that might have defended the rest of us.

Yah, Stu sent a vet tech to the ER with a bite once. In fairness I warned her, repeatedly, to be more gentle and quiet with him. The vet was surprised since he was purring and cuddling in the vet's arms when he carried him back.

The B Line will also be a pivotal moment for the METRO system, really making it behave like a *network* for maybe the first time.

Currently I count 9 METRO-METRO connections (depends on how you assess Orange Line transfers and whether you acknowledge the Red Line). Tomorrow there will be 15.
