I think the mix of languages here is beautiful.

Did you know that Spanish was spoken on U.S. territory before English was? And indigenous languages, like Wampanoag, Cherokee, and Navajo, were spoken here even before Spanish.

Bad Bunny’s got them hopping mad!
The image shows two X posts. The first, by Alex Cole (@acnewstics
) from 1 day ago, states: "This country eats tacos, drinks tequila, and dances to reggaeton, but god forbid we hear Spanish for 15 minutes at halftime?" The second, by Pop Crave (@PopCrave
) from 1 day ago, states: "Former racecar driver Danica Patrick slams Bad Bunny as the Super Bowl 2026 halftime headliner: 'No songs in English should not be allowed at one of America's highest rated television events of the year... not just for sports.'" The post includes photos of Danica Patrick and Bad Bunny.

🎶 Happy release day to Taylor Swift, whose words from last year in reference to the proliferation of AI-generated content couldn't feel more urgent now!

✨ Whether you're listening to a track, reading an article or scrolling your feed, make sure the content is legit & not some AI slop.

It certainly can. I started freelancing when I moved back to my childhood home to take care of my Mom.

I’m so sorry. It’s such a tough illness, for the patients and the families.

I have concerns about this too. I see a definite difference in his cognitive abilities compared to his first administration. If
he were my relative, I’d be recommending a neurological eval. There is so much stigma and denial with dementia. Both my parents had it & it needs to be taken seriously.

I still haven't seen it! Hope to eventually!

It really is wonderful. My grandmother's family was from central Maine, and I know that area reasonably well. But I never spent much time on the coast. It is stunning.

Sounds like a perfect New England day. Where in Vermont is the world's tallest filing cabinet? I'm in Massachusetts, and I never knew such a site existed! 🙂

Beautiful lake photo - reminds me of peaceful times in New Hampshire growing up.

#LinkedIn users, are you noticing a change in the feed view settings? Before, I could sort the feed so I could see posts as they occur. Now I don't see that setting at all, and instead, I'm seeing posts from days and even weeks ago. I'd much prefer to see the latest posts first. Any tips?

I’m using my old Crock Pot for the first time in years. With any luck,
I’ll have a batch of steel cut oats to enjoy with fruit and walnuts all week.

The answer was linguistics for me as well.
jmasoneditor.bsky.social
Excellent points!

I also went to graduate school for linguistics (at UMass Boston), graduating in 2002. I learned valuable lessons about cross-cultural communication and understanding a student's background. But I'm not sure how prepared I'd be as a classroom teacher in today's world.

Capitalization affects how people read hashtags or how people hear them on screen readers. Use #camelCase or #PascalCase in hashtags instead of lowercase. You could have #DoctorWhoRewatch ("Doctor Who Rewatch") or #doctorwhorewatch ("doctor whore watch.")

It hit close to home for me as well. I went to UMass Boston for graduate school.
