📚 Even though from my understanding King himself hated the film adaptation I must say that the movie's a lot better than the book. And this is coming from someone who is by no means a Kubrick fan boy. The book's just TOO long! Like so many of King's novels. #TheShining 📖

🎵 Even though KISS isn't my fav band it's still in my Top 4, "the (un)holy quaternity of rock", along with Aerosmith, AC/DC and Guns N' Roses. And I still to this day remember seeing 'em perform for the 1st time (Rock and Roll All Nite on MTV) and how it blew my mind! RIP Space Ace. 🎶

🍂 IF we would've had more days like today this autumn I wouldn't be anywhere near as fed up with the season as I've been. 🇫🇮 But unfortunately autumn's been too chilly and damp for my taste so far. 🍃 Thankfully I've at least managed to avoid the lurgy. 🤧

Would be highly surprised if there was even a smidgeon of *actual* gold in the Oval Office because of Trump. No doubt those remodelings have cost like they've supposedly used proper gold but #IDontKnowItForAFactIJustKnowItsTrue that the "gold" there is just as fake as Cheeto Benito's tan.

🧟 The thing that applies to a lot #HammerHorror films as far as I'm concerned unfortunately applies to #ThePlagueOfTheZombies as well. There's a lot to like aesthetically but as a whole the film ultimately had very little to give for me. Except for quite a unique use for the zombies I'll grant. 📽️🎞️

💨👃 The amount of deodorant/perfume some people use... 🤨 Either they have a really poor sense sense of smell or lack it completely. OR as I suspect some of these people just don't bother having showers terribly often and try to cover that with fragrances. 😐

The problem with #Jade is that even for a mere 90 min erotic thriller it's surprisingly dull and lacking of titillation. Not that Basic Instinct is any sort of a masterpiece either but you're better off watching it than waste your time with a film that's basically just Basic Instinct Lite. 📽️🎞️

Sure it could be a bit leaner, especially when it comes to the POV sequences. And there are definitely bits that can be triggering for some. But that said, it's still, in particular visually and aesthetically, an enjoyable neo-noir with a brilliant cast. #StrangeDays 📽️🎞️
