Starmer & the royal family have crawled on their bellies to feed Trump's ego from the moment he was re-elected & this is where it got them. Starmer hears the vile insults against Sadiq Kahn & is still too afraid to speak, barely backing Kahn and still callingTrump an ally. What is it going to take?

In case you missed it, 100 voted for the bill for a Customs Union with the EU, and 100 voted against

Deputy Speaker Caroline Nokes cast the vote aye, to allow further debate, "Who will prepare the bill?"

This guy posts every SINGLE DAY. Never missing a day on the war Russia started with Ukraine. Normally, I don't suggest "people to follow", but this guy is WORTH following.
Day 1384 of Russia's illegal (full) invasion of its neighbour - a second invasion in 8 years.
There will be a third too, and other countries seeing unwelcome visits from war criminals pretending to be peacemakers.

Today 4 European leaders meet - have they the balls to say "no"?

A fascinating read.
1. Some good news at last. This week’s column is about the amazing thing a couple of us stumbled into three years ago, which we’ve now developed into a global research programme. It doesn’t change everything, of course, but it could help change quite a lot. + 🧵 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Paul Niland examines exactly what is being demanded of Ukraine by Trump, Witkoff and Putin's 'peace plan', and asks for what price are American oligarchs so blatantly selling out an ally?

Well done Emma Barnett on #r4today exposing the blatant antisemitism of Richard Tice, MP (and deputy leader of Reform) - he called the Jewish man abused at school by Nigel Farage with the foulest of antisemitic language a liar and said it was “lefty twaddle”…

A new low for Farage, Tice, and Reform…

This was raised in Parliament today. All over Radio 4 too - talking about it while not daring to repeat what you said.
If it's any consolation, your accurate description of Donald Trump has now reached a wider audience than the lecture.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

This would be a war crime even if there were an actual war and these people were actual combatants, which there isn't and they weren't.

It's unquestionably an unlawful homicide under any form of law you wish to apply: military or civilian, domestic or international, federal or state. ...

First of all, this is not a war. Second, there is no law giving the Secretary of Defense authority to summarily execute anyone for any reason. This is a serious Constitutional crisis. Either government power is constrained by law, or democracy does not exist.
