This.
I love this Wordsworth quote-

"The best portion of a good man's life: his little, nameless unremembered acts of kindness & love."

What if our health services could embrace this spirit? There'd be less top down promotion of 'Values'- it'd be more about relationships & people having freedom & space.

I was at this lecture. It was my first visit to the V&A in Dundee and was really interesting. The lecture and then the questions from the audience were interesting and seeing the recording process was also pretty cool.

Worth a listen.

Missed this earlier, but it's fascinating.

Very occasionally, with the right conditions, human brains are preserved long after death and archaeologists stumble across them.

A study catalogued them and found 4,000+ examples from a time span of *12,000* years www.atlasobscura.com/articles/mys...

IMO these 👇 are valid and important points, e.g. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam... However, it’s also important to note that in certain instances the quality of evidence is better for psychotherapy than for psychopharmacology, e.g. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Very interested in this idea...
I think over the next few years the evidence will continue to accumulate that the majority of mental disorders are best treated with short, highly intensive therapies. This will challenge many assumptions on how therapy works.

Doing a wee introduction thread about me and my research. Would love to connect with others.
