Man kan ikke uten videre sammenlikne lønnen til helseministeren med lønnen til RHF-direktørene. Førstnevnte er politisk valgt, sistnevnte er ansatte. Vi må kunne diskutere RHF-direktørenes lønnsgodtgjørelse uten å nødvendigvis trekke inn helseministerens lønn.

An uncontrolled SMD of 0.56 is substantially smaller than the uncontrolled/within-group effect sizes observed in the placebo arm of depression trials. Obviously, it's difficult to compare SMDs due to differences in populations (routine vs. industry trials), but this SMD doesn't indicate "efficacy".

Are cognitive-behavioral therapy and emotion-focused therapy equally effective or ineffective for depression in routine mental health care? Based on the overall uncontrolled effect size of this trial (SMD=0.56), I would argue that they are equally ineffective. www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10....

For min del er det fortsatt en gåte at denne kompetansen ikke er bedre sikret i psykologers mangeårige grunnutdanning.

The success of some drugs (certain antibiotics, blood pressure drugs, and some others) designed to fix *one* problem, have led us to have unrealistic expectations for drugs to resolve complex problems for which no simple mechanistic understanding exist.
