Hello Blueskiers (is that what we are calling ourselves?)

Here’s some of my photography work over the last few years (probably a little longer now, time seems to be getting quicker), shot on one Fuji or another.

Please feel to connect
And that’s the title race over. Cracking free kick though.

Convinced that the Biathlon event is actually every country’s various spies meeting up for a jolly and there’s a mutual understanding that it’s the one weekend where they’re not allowed to kill each other.

I can’t really comment as I’m only a fan of Rugby when Six Nations are on/Eng are playing but each year it loses me a bit with how pedantic referring is becoming. I get it from a safety perspective but we’re in a situation where one team has been reduced to 13 men. Twice. Kills the game.

Romero has let the side down massively today. The side as started to show some semblance of togetherness and look like a team over the last few games. He is world class on his day and I don’t think there is anyone else you want playing for you on a big match day, but he is a constant liability.

Maybe naive, but as long as we got Xavi, Palhinha and Gallagher on the pitch I still believe. Coys

The Chagos line from Trump is again pure distraction. Our press is now going to focus on the Chagos deal all day and whether this is all embarrassing or humiliating for Starmer and not think about Trump or Greenland.

I actually feel a bit for Frank. No one deserves to be serenaded the way he did at the end of the West Ham game. Likewise the boos and abuse aimed at Vicario earlier in the season, Ange last year, Nuno and Emerson before that. Our fanbase never used to be like that.

Wonder if Poch will have the cajones to resign as coach as the USMT because of Tango Mussolini.

Reading the comments on the THST story on the BBC and it’s kind of refreshing to see some honesty on there regarding people’s disillusionment with football as a whole with fan behaviour being a huge part of that. Whether you’re winning or losing supporting a club these days is exhausting.

The use of CSAM on X/Grok is the perfect opportunity for the government/EU to ban that platform without fighting accusations of limiting “freedom of speech”. There’s a clear moral and ethical case to do so. Either that or fine it into oblivion.

Not much Christmas cheer left in various boardrooms across the football leagues it seems.

Not once in this story does it mention that some of these women are actually minors. I don’t know whether that is a procedural, legal or a verification issue but if not that is a shocking omission.

The BBC has seen several examples of it undressing women and putting them in sexual situations without their consent.

Astronomers made a truly mind-boggling discovery using the JWST:

A runaway super-massive black hole, rocketing through space at a staggering 1,000 km/s, leaving a 200,000 light-year-long tail in its wake in which gas is accumulating and triggering star formation.

I only dipped into watching some of the various Wallace and Gromit films on tv this year but the more I watch the more I’m convinced it’s man kinds greatest achievement. Even watching for 2 minutes you come away getting something joyous out of it.

My New Year’s resolution wants to not think “oh fuck off” to pretty much everything. But I have my doubts that’s is achievable.

Encouraging signs for us. Xavi and Kudus having an affect on the game. Look much better as an attacking unit the last two games. Feels a bit like Archie Gray gives us a bit more in midfield allowing us to play a bit.

The Tasselled Wobbegong is a master of disguise that can eat a fish almost as big as itself in one gulp. It's classified as a shark, but when it lays on the sea floor it looks like a harmless rug if you manage to see it. But with powerful jaws and sharp teeth they are no fish to mess with.

Woke up expecting the match to be over, only to be surprised that England hadn’t lost any wickets. Turns on TV. Lose four wickets in just as many minutes. Can’t help but take this personally.

Honestly it’ll be great if teams boycotted the World Cup and play our unofficial World Cup. Donate the proceeds to charity. Fuck FIFA.
