Students are given initial height and velocity of the launched marble. Each group has to calculate the height of their ring at their assigned horizontal distance.

Mass-Spring System in Gravitational Field
Demonstrate what changes (& what doesn't) when a g-field is added. Replace spring force with net force, and spring potential energy with total potential, & it looks a very similar!
