Hi, I think people should only work because they want to and have something to contribute to society, and people want to do so its in our nature. We should not be coerced by homeless & starvation into working tedious meaningless jobs. The human requirements for survival should be the public commons.

We can, should and must end poverty. First, at home here in the United States of America, then globally.
It should be our top priority.
It can simultaneously address many or all of our intersectional issues of injustice.

Congressmembers should be required by law to live in the poorest community they represent, and in dorm-style communal housing in Washington, D.C., when they are at work.

I had a friend in South Carolina that was running for Congress years ago. I asked a CA Congressperson if she would help her and she asked, "Does she have at least $3 million? Because otherwise she'd just be wasting my time."
