Been watching a lot of EVO France with the French commentary and that's been really fun to both see their enthusiasm and what I can still pick up from my old language classes. Surprisingly way more than I thought!

I fully admit I also was thinking it might get new blood. We've been doing our casual nights at a public spot in town (with at least one 2XKO setup going on the projector) and the only people we had outside the group come by wondered if we ran Smash and EA UFC 5. No interest in the other games.

Agreed. Most of the people I have heard who have never touched a fighter before now seem to be happy with smashing auto combos into super so far, but admittedly it's not that big of a sample size!

Yeah definitely think we will see more of that. There's been free to play fighters before but they've either been limited to the platform (Killer Instinct at launch) they were on at the time of launch or lack of worldwide recognition. Mostly curious to see if the f2p effect works across the board

Truth be told, I'm way more interested in hearing what non fighting game players think of 2XKO, especially with as how low barrier to entry it is. So far most of the streams I have seen are from the content usuals in the fgc and it's sometimes hard to parse general social media chatter on a topic.

Overall, about the same amount of enjoyment as I would w/ a mid-range slasher film & a decent choice for a weekend game! Unfortunate that unlike other Clock Tower games theres no alternate endings, but ah well!
