I've discovered that in Mega Man 5, you can't jump out of a slide when underwater. I don't if this is true in the other games, besides Mega Man 6 where - to my memory - you can't jump out of a slide, period.
I discovered this by falling in a hole when I couldn't jump out of a slide underwater.

I was recommended Link Evolution by @shoogles.bsky.social which seems to have a really solid tutorial and the game does seem pretty fun. So maybe I'm getting into it? I'm trying to design a card game myself and it seems like they follow some fairly standard mechanics which are easy enough to learn!

Right, serious question - did the YuGiOh manga/anime come before the card game or was the manga/anime made to promote the card game? What was the synergy there?
I know I could just Google this but conversations are more rewarding.

Genuinely so glad that @retromags.com have been uploading so many issues of PSM2. That magazine came under a lot of fire - and it certainly had its problems - but back in the day it was always my favourite. And it turned me onto Gitaroo Man, so it's immortal as far as I'm concerned.
