That's like having to wire your buy-in at an underground poker game before you show up and realize your opponent is a card shark. Can't exactly run with your money if you see a problem before the game starts.
Goes to show how many people are against the idea of having to gamble your loadout in a videogame of your own free will.
In both TF2 and Tarkov you could end up spending hundreds on crates to get the gear you wanted in the first place...for what? Achievements? Is that worth the risk?

Before the Love & War update in TF2, there was a misguided but genuine fear that you could lose your cool cosmetic weapons if the game had extraction shooter elements involved since Valve was vague about the weapon pickup system being decidedly not like a ES before launch.

The rule of law is actively failing to arbitrate a situation where a federal agency is going rogue. There's no FBI warring against ICE like the domestic threat they are. We have no one in government to turn to to make this right. So instead of being helpless, we help ourselves.
It's not as though we don't have a tangible vessel to focus this righteous fury - it's the ICE agency and all its puppets.
The agents should be searched without warrant, held imprisoned without probable cause, frightened into submission like the animals they are...see the world they've created.

An officer with a badge is granted their power to enforce law by the state, so when that power is abused but excused, it is the state's power that is corrupted too. They're not enforcing law, they're bandits. They deserve no protection, least of all from the law.
