On a recent overseas flight, I first watched One Life (Anthony Hopkins), followed by I'm Still Here (Fernanda Torres) about Brazil's 1970s dictatorship. Both were excellent, but I was chilled by their many connections to today. So one day after returning, I participated in the No King protests.

I've signed up for two weeks of intensive Spanish classes (4 hrs per day) in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, starting next week. I'm curious to hear what my classmates will have to say about U.S. politics. I think I already know.
