There was no "Emergency" situation with crime in DC. This stunt got a 20 year old young woman killed.

Mark Kelly didn’t break the law.

Not unexpected, but … wow, even Dick Cheney is too good for him. www.axios.com/2025/11/20/t...
Trump snubbed for Dick Cheney's funeral
The ex-VP went from supporting Trump to denouncing the president, who repeatedly criticized his daughter Liz Cheney, after Jan. 6.

Breaking: An Epstein survivor just silenced press conference attendees when she delivered the following remarks:

“Today we stand in a moment that will decide whether our government belongs to the American people, or to those who prey on them.”

I love this survey of physicians who experience “sacred moments” with their patients. I’m struck that only 68% experience this regularly. And also only 4.5.% regularly talk about these moments with colleagues. 1/

Sacred Moment Experiences Among Internal Medicine Physicians - PubMed
In this national survey of internal medicine physicians, experiencing sacred moments is common; discussing them with colleagues is not. These findings suggest that frequently experiencing sacred moments and discussing them with colleagues could bolster physician well-being.

My opinion is this is the most essential, important recording in Western Pop/Rock. It’s hard to separate from a lot context, but giving it a mindful listen now, I’m moved by how relevant it is today.

It’s always the same fucking greed and fascism. Shaking your ass about it is helpful for a time.

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

We really need to do something to stop the senile angry old man starting a war over nothing in Venezuela to distract us from the fact that he’s been credibly accused of pedophilia by many witnesses.

Like the *whole* country gets this now, right? Like the generals are going to disobey orders right?

Unlike political columnists, physicians study the effects of things they do. We then adjust based on the findings. What we do about the opioid epidemic is called “harm reduction” because it reduces harm. Insisting on sobriety before providing aid does not.

Well I guess it would be nice to have the SCOTUS weigh in on whether its legal for a President to starve citizens. Kind of an important legal question I’d like to see answered. But why bother doing your job if you have the option to avoid pissing off the dictator? apple.news/AkkR3jpxWQ_K...

It’s not that they appear to be caving. It’s that they might be caving without discipline, unity, or messaging. Historically, this is where the Old Democrats always snatch defeat out of a free win. 1/

Good god I am tired of major media telling us Democrats can’t win unless they “move to the center.” I am no ideologue but there is obviously a progressive constituency that has little representation, so how about shut up and let people vote how they want? www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/o...

Agree completely. It’s the Reagan Poison (“Government *is* the problem”) in the well that brought us, eventually, to where we are today. Capitalism is not the enemy. It’s capitalism that isn’t subject to the will of the people.
Rewatching Zohran's victory speech bit by bit and it's hard not to be emotional about it - it's an appeal to hope and courage but also to the fundamental idea of living in society, together. Feels like we've been starved, often deliberately, of that kind of thinking
