Let's say that the senate agreed to include the ACA subsides in their CR, and it passed all the senate hurdles. What guarantee is there that the CR would pass the house? It very well could fail, and then we are still at square one.

Using Food Assistance & Healthcare as weapons to fund the government is beyond cruel. We are 40 days without funding. Snap is paused. Healthcare premiums are rising , already set for 2026. 1000s of flights canceled. Time to come together & reopen. Too much damage has been done. #governmentshutdown

We, as American citizens who live under a constitution, have every right to disagree with and be vocal about our leaders regardless of political affiliation. To say that this right should not be allowed is a slap in the face to freedom of speech. #constitution #FreedomOfSpeech
