Raccoon yells "The radical left is taking our country too far left" response says "on the world stage. the use is farther right. that means center/center-left ideas look radical here. Raccoon yells "We need law and order" response says ignoring the dog whistle, you don't seem to trust the law or orders unless they are good for you personally. This sort of back and forth keeps happenings with the raccoon screaming some dumb gems as "the election was stolen", "science says 2 genders only", "raising wages raises prices", "trump wasn't part of the establishment", "leftist are afraid of voter id", and "I don't see widespread racism, we had a black president, white peole are oppressed for their race". This trail ends in the raccoon yelling lourder "you're not listening to me!!!"

The raccoon, balling their eyes out screams "Cancel culture scares me, I fear being wrong. The fandom not being mine scares me, I fear those different from me. Anti-facism scares me, I fear that I have lost my power. The unknown scares me, I fear change I don't understand. The news scares me, I fear the world outside my own. I miss the simple past I loved. The world is scary and violent now. I just want to feel safe again"

Koor continues on with. earth doesn't revolve around your shit idea of a deterministic dystopian future. Nor is the wary departure from a coddling fantasy you shout as "the past" an excuse to live selfishly in unstable times. Modern problems come from the past and present. We all want safety. We all want to explore, express, and enjoy our lives. Ultimately we're not fueled on fear, guilt, or loneliness like you.

You, raccoon, avoid all nebulous and urgent discussions that others are having. Pushback to righting ideas are due to them only keep the conservative/fascist safe. Fear is a leash, curiosity helps us explore. Guilt is cowardice, empathy is encouragement for connection. Loneness is denying one's vulnerability. Community helps overcome our faults. We've listened to you, we don't buy the fear mongering story. We want solutions, not enragement. Progressives work for a better future
