Malta has some programs that fly under the radar and can be good a good fit for some. Not all lead to citizenship - but sometimes just get rights to residency are a good start.

Finish Lapland was a real highlight of our winter season this year. We stayed in the Aurora Queen glass igloos. Didn't try the ice floating - that sounds pretty crazy.

I was just watching one of the Obama nature documentaries last night and kept thinking, how on earth did that country go from having such an intelligent, articulate, sincere man as President to twice electing the incompetent, incoherent, narcissist of the orange buffoon.

Truly hurts my brain.

We really liked Calgary - in fa t we based ourselves there for a couple of months early in our JollyHobos adventures. Some great art and architecture around - the library is super impressive building!

The weekend starts here!

Some of the craziest skies I've ever seen - two years ago over Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon.

#Iceland

Mad stormy purpley/grey skies over a glacial lagoon which has some black water at the front and turquoise water beyond, and has a few turquoise icebergs floating. In the distance you can see some dark mountains and the glacier itself is just visible. There is an ara of brightness on the horizon beneath the storm clouds.

I don't have any problems with someone trying to adjust a dish because they have something they don't / can't eat. But to turn up and ask for a dish not even on the menu is the height of arrogance I feel.
