Beever-Jones feels to me like a successor to Mead more than anyone else.

Just has such a knack for popping into the right places, finding all kinds of angles, has a clutch quality and all kinds of finishes in her locker.

Has a great mindset too.

It's now a case of just going straight to games for most.

So we tend to feel a bigger loss than most clubs when we lose that

But it takes it away from others trying to build something up and just feels like a real shame.

"Growth" shouldn't exclude such... growth.

1 of the big downsides as Arsenal Women fans of all these early kick offs is that it's killing so much of the community work we did to build our support & energy. It was built on pregame time together in venues we arrange every single game, but now fans are deprived at such times

Even as I scroll on socials less & less it's felt like a shocking amount of big injuries in women's football recently, unable to scroll without seeing another cruel injury.

Pretty despairing feeling at such times. Just so gutting.

As ever, the need for research is vital.
