A new figure.... at last...

you get actors like Alec Guinness despising their genre work, or like Jeremy Brett being massively screwed up by it, and then you get Christopher Lee calling his cat Renfield.
Christopher Lee with his cat, Renfield.

Deep beneath the streets of a web-shrouded London DOCTOR WHO must once again battle the terrifying GREAT INTELLIGENCE. Will he win, and can he rescue Jamie and Victoria from the claws of the deadly robot YETI?
I bet they don't even sell power converters. Rubbish.
Dispatch email for the Master received! Now to just wait and see if my season 13 shows up today....
Amazing! How did you get Tom looking down like that?
I thought so. I didn't go with them this time after they screwed me over with the first Blakes 7. Money wasn't in the account the first time they tried, and instead of letting me know so i could put it right, they cancelled the order.
Damn, totally forgot that Season 13 is due this week. Between that and the Master, I'm going to need to sell a kidney. Either that, or go down the docks with a sign saying 'Get it here'.
My mind read/sung this to the tune of 'Eric the half-a-bee' by Monty Python.
Lovely! Not gotten one yet, but i didn't order until the afternoon, so I'll be well down the queue.

This made me laugh more than I expected. Sweep does Tales of the Unexpected.
You'll overtake me in no time... I can only ever manage a few pages at bedtime, which takes me a couple of months to get through a book these days.
Reading this one at the moment. Enjoying it.
I ve always enjoyed it and thought folk were unfairly unkind about this. Nice to see some modern reviewers totally changing their position on it now.

Claymation Jeff Bridges is still crap though.
Should be on BBC1 in the WHO slot. Its honestly good and accessible enough to go mainstream.
The paint is going to be doing a lot of heavy lifting on this one. An old fashioned 'back to basics' build. Fibreboard and bits and bobs for greeblies.
Yes, but Weng-Chiang locations!

Monsters for my calendar: Omega with Gel Guard
Plus one billion points for making the gellguards terrifying!
And yet people keep putting him in films. Loved Tron, thought Legacy was underrated, but happy to wait until I can see this for free. (I'll have still paid too much TBH)
My mind read this in the voice of Arthur Atkinson....
