Red Squirrels always looking like they're about to politely interrupt

Autum zebra beans.

I dont have the setup to grow enough beans to get me through the winter (yet). But I'm trying several heirloom varieties in small batches.

I can increase vertical growing space next year.

I really look forward to tasting these beautiful babies.

Still they come. I’m throwing a few away now as they are split or have been attack. I also found a mouldy one so the end is nigh.
As we are away again for a few days I’ve picked these to continue ripening at home.
There’s a similar number left to harvest. Will assess their chances when we get back.
