a bit about me:
Used to cook, now I grow; grew up in Appalachia, immigrated to Asturias, lived some other places too; I enjoy taking photographs, writing about food culture and history, listening to black metal, indexing recipes, and being a pedant; competent cider maker, champion cider drinker.

While I am deeply skeptical of all of the food labeling marketing Europe loves, calling something with 80% of its volume non-juice fillers by the same name as a drink made from 100% juice is simply ridiculous. Apple flavored carbonated water simply isn't cider.

Wheel of Time is sort of the ultimate property for a streaming tv play: nothing is ever resolved from book to book, so there's always a new season to go, and ultimately nothing is EVER resolved, so it doesn't matter when you cancel it. 😆

Frederic Athelwold Iremonger has, by far, the best name I have encountered in a while. Not only is it a perfect marriage of Prussian and Saxon strains, his last name conjures up someone who, like an ironmonger works metal, beats others into proper ire.
