Panel 4 Fern: She keeps out a bowl of candy. Ember: LET'S GO! Ember gets her coat on with remarkable speed. She's going to get some candy and we all know she deserves it.

BOTD: Scott Bradley (1891-1977) who wrote music for the MGM cartoon shorts of the Golden Age.
Bradley was an accomplished composer who felt that music for cartoons was a true art form.
I consider his work equal to that of Carl Stalling, his better known contemporary at Warner Bros

Thanksgiving has been celebrated in America since the 17th century, but the official date we use today wasn’t set until 1941. Until then, there was always some confusion. This cartoon, The Landing of the Pilgrims, was released the year before, in 1940.
