Whitecaps lose to FC Dallas in frustrating match

The Vancouver Whitecaps fought hard while being down to 10 men against FC Dallas. Unfortunately, they lost, and officiating took centre stage yet again.

Tough result and some...interesting reffing. You got to applaud the effort. The Whitecaps played like they weren't down to 10 men. Got to love Decision Day. Onto the playoffs...against FC Dallas.

So...Laborda initially gets a yellow for a tackle on Samuel Sarver. But VAR checks for DOGSO and then Allen Chapman sends Laborda off. He will be suspended for Game 1 of the first round.

And not only that, it is very likely that #VWFC finishes top four in the entire league and that would mean Vancouver FC would get a CONCACAF Champions Cup spot.

Austin FC beat LAFC 1-0. As a result, a draw against FC Dallas on Saturday would be enough for #VWFC to clinch the Western Conference.
