I'm pro-union because I think workers should organize to balance the power that business owners have in various negotiations. It's true that unions have been weakened, but it's not because of multiculturalism. I would argue, it's because people seek to exploit divisions for their material interests.

TikTok's biggest European market is the UK, something they were gleefully boasting to the press about early this summer but then as soon as a union recognition ballot is scheduled, suddenly it isn't that important and they want to offshore jobs somewhere with cheaper labour and weak unions.

Really hard to engage with this app when Palestinian accounts are so routinely removed for simply asking for help during an active fucking genocide where they watch their kids starve.
