Wendy's output is truly prolific. In 2024, they released Viewfinder, a double-album jazz and improv song cycle. The album was universally acclaimed and was listed as one of Pitchforkβs best albums of 2024.

It was also one of the last albums recorded by the late great Steve Albini. Albini's legendary recordist skills shine through wonderfully on the album - leaving in little nudges and foot tap sounds in addition to the pedal steel and vocals. It just adds to the surreality of the music.

It was also one of the last albums recorded by the late great Steve Albini. Albini's legendary recordist skills shine through wonderfully on the album - leaving in little nudges and foot tap sounds in addition to the pedal steel and vocals. It just adds to the surreality of the music.

I said it the other day, but this is pure experimental pedal steel and vocals - there's nothing quite like it, and we're really excited to be the ones to put out this debut album.
