🚨Call your senators now and tell them to VOTE NO! Vote is this afternoon. Here's an easy script ⬇️

I called my senators this morning to urge them to reject the Republican CR.

Stepping to the side while fascists take an axe to our system of government is not a response. Democrats are complicit.

Last night, the Mexican flag we hang in front of our house was torn down.

Today’s project will be installing and securing both the flag of Mexico and the Pride flag.

Cameras and *home security* next. Bring it on.

Beyoncé’s β€œCowboy Carter” has won a Grammy for Album of the Year. The album, @skornhaber.bsky.social wrote in April, might be the most American story of allβ€”about survival through reinvention:

Beyoncé’s "Cowboy Carter" is an exploration of countryβ€”not just the musical genre, but America itself.

Real doozy - of course need to call out the focus on academics and not on other tangible benefits of inclusion, but regardless, should have anyone engaged in SPED slowing to ask themselves and others some questions.

Ahh gotcha, I’m new to this world. Thanks for the tips! Haha

Shallan is such a complex character and I love the depiction of her journey with her identities. And wow Adolin, I did not expect to love him so much.

Also - I have to shout out Wit. Most intriguing character ever imo

ALSO - the heralds! This was the first book where I could really feel their stories, their long lives, their history and challenges. Really appreciated that.

But beyond that, I absolutely loved the time we got with Szeth in this book. His development arc, his internal struggles with morality and justice and humanity, they were incredibly well done and, at least for me, the most relatable to my experiences.

How about you?! Fave character or thread?!
